The Macular Degeneration Symposium will be held on Wednesday, October 10 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Alliant Energy Center, 1919 Alliant Energy Way in Madison. Attend for an informative program to learn about the latest treatments, tools and discoveries for macular degeneration from University of Wisconsin ophthalmologists and researchers, and experts from the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired. People diagnosed with macular degeneration, family, friends and others who work with people who have macular degeneration are encouraged to attend. The 9th Annual Wisconsin VisionWalk – May 21st!

VisionWalk has raised over $43 million to fund sight-saving research since its beginnings in 2006.  The need for research funding is greater than ever as promising treatments move into critical human studies.

Come join the tens of thousands of people who have helped raise money for a cure by participating in a 5K VisionWalk on Sunday May 21st at the beautiful Veterans Park at the Lagoon in Milwaukee.

Senior Health and Wellness Fair

Come see Adaptive Technology Resources, Inc.’sbooth at the “Saving Sight Symposium” on Wednesday, October 8th 2014 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison.

ATR will be introducing the latest technology for blind or visually impaired individuals including the new Blaze EZ portable reading device with OCR.
